Advices are just arrived here from the Crimea of a very signal Victory gained by the Russian Troops there over the combined Armies of the rebellious Russians, Cossacks, &c. and the Turks and Tartars, under the Command of Dueles Guery. The Turks, &c. received a total Defeat, having 8000 Men killed and wounded, 5000 taken Prisoners, with all the Cannon, Ammunition, Tents, &c. The Remains of the defeated Army fled with the utmost Precipitation towards Oczakow, and the victorious Russians entered Bachiseia in Triumph, which Place they are now fortifying in the strongest Manner.
