TENNESSEE OUSTS STANDARD

License Revoked on Showing of Violation of Anti-Trust Law.

Nashville, Tenn.—Chancellor J. W. Stout, at Gallatin, rendered decree of ouster in the case of the state vs. the Standard Oil Co., revoking the license of said company to transact business in Tennessee.

The decree was the result of a bill recently filed in chancery at Gallatin by Attorney General Cates on behalf of the state, seeking to revoke the Tennessee license of the Standard Oil Co. on the charge of illegal discrimination and violation of the anti-trust law.
