NEW-YORK. December 26. Saturday night last Captain Role, arrived here in 15 days from South-Carolina; where Captain Shand from this port was also arrived. Rice at Carolina, 50s. per C. Yesterday Capt. Young arrived here in 7 weeks from the Orkneys, but brings no late news: The 18th inst. he spoke with a Schooner from Boston, bound for Virginia. Capt. McAdam, sailed from the Orkneys, for Boston, two Weeks before Captain Young. Yesterday also, Capt. Farquhar, arrived here from Barbadoes, in 31 days; where a large ship was arrived from Philadelphia. Yesterday likewise arrived here a Brig belonging to Connecticut, in 10 weeks from Dublin. And a brig from Liverpool in 9 weeks.
