POINTS ON PEOPLE.
Movements of Citizens and the Coming and Going of Strangers.
Mr. W. B. Pettit, of Littleton, was in the city yesterday.
Mr. J. W. Grubb left for the East yesterday on a business trip.
W. T. Graham and wife, of Bridgeport, have returned from a week's visit in Chicago.
Mrs. Joseph Chelwynd and children, of East Liverpool, are visiting relatives on La Belle street.
Messrs. George Hervey and Jim Ewing took in a concert at the Steubenville Female Seminary on Friday evening.
Miss Mary Bankard will sing a solo at the praise service to be held at the First Presbyterian Church this evening.
Misses Emma Clark, Birdie Robinson and Sister Carroll, an interesting trio of St. Clairville ladies, were visiting in the city on Wednesday.
Mr. J. O. Howell, of Bridgeport, is in Pittsburgh; T. W. Simpers and C. W. Houser are in Steubenville; and George Miller in Cleveland, O.
Miss Kate Zern, who has been visiting her cousin, Miss Lizzie Carenbauer, of Eighteenth street, for the past six weeks, returned to her home at Pittsburgh, yesterday.
Mr. D. F. McDonald, local agent of the Wyandotte and Northwestern has been appointed contracting agent of the Missouri Kansas and Texas railway with headquarters in this city.--Kansas City Times.
