Miss "Bobbie" Stevens was guest of honor at a bridal shower on Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Eugene Hurd with Mrs. Donald Roberson co-hostess to many of Bobbie's young friends. Her wedding to James Ramsey will take place at 2 p.m. on June 12th in the Chapel at the University of Maryland. Mr. Ramsey is in this year's graduating class.
It was a lovely weekend for all of us, especially those out for their first vacation. Home for the weekend was Billy Poole from Drexel Institute in Philadelphia, Miss Hattie Griffith of Laytonsville with Mrs. David Clark. Mr. G. R. Gray, Jr. and family of Silver Spring at the home of his mother, Mrs. G. R. Gray, the Wellstood Whites of Bethesda at their farm, "Inverness" and Miss Margaret Daniel of Washington, guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Daniel.
