Uniform Dress for
Graduates.
The Cache County teachers institute was held on Saturday at the B. Y. College where the county school teachers met and listened to an instructive lecture on mind development by Professor J. E. Hickman of the B. Y. College faculty.
Other features of the program were lectures by Miss W. E. Peterson, music supervisor and Miss Clare Kremmer, primary supervisor.
Committees on athletics and debating for the county high schools were appointed and a committee on public athletics was also appointed.
These committees are composed as follows:
High school committee on debating—principal Lewiston high school; L. W. Larsen, principal Richmond high school; Orson Christiansen, principal Smithfield high school; H. R. Adams, principal Hyrum high school; Osmond Justeson, principal Wellsville high school
High school committee on athletics—Henry Plant, Richmond high school; Ivan Egbert, Smithfield high school; Melvin Smart, Hyrum high school; James Stewart, Wellsville high school; James Osmond, Lewiston high school.
Committee on public school athletics—Ray Hovey, Millville; W. W. Brown, Paradise; J. W. Kirkbride, Smithfield.
A committee was appointed to make recommendations to the principals at the next institute on the advisability of adopting a uniform dress in the county for county graduates.
