Mr. PRINTER,
AFTER having posted Mr. WRIGHT POST as a Poltroon, Scoundrel, and Coward, I beg leave to inform the dispassionate public, that if they are not satisfied with the mode in which I endeavored to bring him forward as a gentleman, I will produce my friend's certificate to prove he received both my invitations, in the latter of which I pointedly specified the time, manner, and place of meeting. With respect to my having forfeited the character of a gentleman, which was the allegation he offered at the Coffee-House yesterday, at 4 P. M.—I beg leave, in answer, to recommend him to the gentlemen respecting this assertion, only to so small a part as frequent the 'Change; if he will listen to what they have to say, he will find his conduct universally damned.
P. S. Perhaps Mr. P's boon friends will, as anodyne to his harrowed soul, tell him I am no gentleman, and therefore ought to have been treated in the pusillanimous way he has thought proper to treat me.
P. MICHEAU.
