Dr. Reeves To Head Red Cross Campaign Here

Dr. C. Waymond Reeves, well known local physician, has been chosen Chairman of the 1940 Red Cross Roll Call of the Colored Division.

Following his acceptance Saturday Dr. Reeves immediately called an advisory committee which was composed of J. C. McMorries of the Urban League; C. A. Scott of the Atlanta Daily World; Charles Gideons, of the Booker T. Washington High Night School; A. J. Lewis, Commissioner of Boy Scouts, and Dr. Georgia Dwelle, of Dwelle's Infirmary. This committee appointed chairman and chairwomen of the various sections completing the organizations.

Sectional Chairmen selected are as follows:

Residential sections - Miss Hettie Feger and Mrs. M. Agnes Jones

Group Enrollment - Dr. G. Dwelle and Mrs. C. W. Reeves.

Business Districts - Mr. T. M. Alexander.

Special Gifts - Col A. T. Walden and Mr. Walter Smith

Supplies - Mr. A. J. Lewis, II.
