WICHITA SMALLPOX

Seven New Cases Reported and Business Is Paralyzed.

Wichita. Jan. 20.—Seven new cases of smallpox were reported to the board of health here today but there is so much excitement and wild talk that it is impossible to tell just how many cases there are here, or where they are all located. The parties who instituted the injunction suit against the building of the pesthouse have agreed to withdraw the suit and allow the work to go on for the reason that these people have been the first to get caught with a quarantine. The scare is paralyzing business.
