Full Text
"As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
This statement from I Corinthians will be the Golden Text in the Sunday Lesson-Sermon on "Adam and Fallen Man" in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston.
In an exhortation to the Ephesians Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour . . . For we were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepeth, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."
The Lesson-Sermon also includes these passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "Whatever indicates the fall of man or the opposite of God or God's absence, is the Adam- dream, which is neither Mind nor man, for it is not begotten of the Father." "As in Adam (error) all die, even so in Christ (Truth) shall all be made alive."
