The following is an extract of a letter to the Editors of the Baltimore Patriot, dated PITTSBURG, Pa. Nov. 10th, 1827.

Knowing your zeal in the good cause of the Administration, I take the liberty of stating to you the result of an Administration meeting this day held at the Court House, at two o'clock, agreeably to previous notice. Although the meeting was held at an hour interfering with business, and which prevented the attendance of many to my own knowledge-nevertheless the meeting was large and highly respectable-it is the general opinion that about five hundred were present. Judge Shaler eloquently addressed the meeting--resolutions were offered and adopted, tending to advance the cause of the Administration, all of which no doubt will reach you in due season. It is a fact worthy of remark that at the last Presidential election in the city of Pittsburg; only seventeen voted for Mr. Adams-this can be relied on; as I understand the names were registered, being so few in number. I have heard that only one vote was for Adams in the county. You will bear in mind that the meeting in question was a county meeting. A great change has and continues to take place. There are many in this city, who are good but silent friends of the Administration-but wherever there is a Jackson man, it is sure to be known, as is generally the case, they are very clamorous and turbulent.
