FIRST JERUSALEM BAPTIST
Sunday, August 8, the services
were conducted by Rev. German in
the absence of our pastor Rev. W.
Brown. The Junior Choir served.
Our service began Sunday at 3:30
with Dea. Marvin Cobb and Dea.
Mills of Corner's Temple Baptist
Church, conducting the devotion.
The scripture lesson was read by
Rev. Ervin's. The pastor delivered
the sermon. The Jr. and Sr. Choir
served with Zella
Sapp
at the
piano. We are
very
proud of the
fact that
we
had
visitors
from
seven
churches
in
the
city, and
Mrs.
McPhaul
from Rocky Hill
Island, New York.
Mrs. Earnestine Ervin was united
with the church. Our pulpit
guests were Rev. Butler and Rev.
Ervin.
