Jordan Returns from Europe.
New York, April 30.—U. S. Treasurer Jordan arrived here from Europe on the steamship Aller yesterday, and left for Washington to-day. He is in excellent health. When he left Mr. Manning at Bournemouth, the ex-Secretary's condition was greatly improved and he expected to be in New York inside of thirty days. He is gaining strength every day and the rest is making a new man of him. Mr. Jordan says that none of the plans about the Western National Bank so far as he and Mr. Manning are concerned, have been changed.
