American League Moves Franchise From Cleveland, Ohio To Atlanta
No hint has been made yet about the name the team will assume Mr John Harden is the copyright owner of the Atlanta Black Cracker title and it is not yet known whether or not he expects to work with the new set-up He is, however, a staunch friend and admirer of Mr John B Greer of Jacksonville and Cleveland land
A PIVOT IN ATLANTA
Mr Harden's attitude can make or break the local venture or extend the new promoters to financial excesses Mr. Harden will be approached for a statement in this connection within the next few days. After all he gave Atlanta the finest uniformed. best fed and best travel accommodated Black Cracker combinations in all history,
dropping almost a fortune in doing so.
Atlanta fans have awakened to the sorry local plight of sportive inactivity and should be thirsty to support the new venture.
James "Gabby" Kemp, one of Atlanta's favorite ball players recently awarded an A.B degree at Morris Brown College, will be given an opportunity to make the grade again Four or five other local lads will be added to the club personnel
