State Realtors To Hold Meeting At Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, July 28. - Elaborate plans in full detail for the entertainment of more than 500 real estate men in California who are expected to go to Sacramento for the annual state convention of the California Real Estate Association, October 10 to 13 are being worked out by the Sacramento Realtors Association. The early completion of these plans is assurance that the visitors, who will represent every community in the entire state, will have a busy and enjoyable time every minute they are outside of the convention hall.
One of the features of the convention entertainment plans is to be the first California Real Estate Association golf tournament for a perpetual trophy. The trophy, for which $500 has been set aside, is to be known as the Sacramento realtors' perpetual trophy and will be a feature of each succeeding convention.
According to A. R. Gallaway, Jr., chairman of the convention golf committee, although just announced, the contest has already resulted in a number of real estate men placing their names on the entry list and insuring a contest of unusual proportions.
The tournament will be played off at the Del Paso country club links near Sacramento.
Among other details of the convention entertainment program will be All Sacramento valley products dinner, for which twenty counties of the Sacramento Valley are to provide the food. Everything necessary for the entire meal will be supplied from one or another of the counties.
Still another feature of the convention will be the post-convention tour of the Sacramento valley, planned for the benefit of real estate men who have not visited this section of the state.
