LONDONERS GO WILD WHEN AMERICAN TROOPS PARADE

LONDON, Aug. 15.--London went wild with enthusiasm when the American engineers camped near the city and paraded the streets for the first time. The war cabinet adjourned its session to see the Americans pass. The king and queen came to the entrance of Buckingham palace, the king saluting as the flag passed. No troops have ever been given such an ovation since the British returned from South Africa. During the parade British airplanes patrolled the skies fearing a German raid.
