Full Text

Little Billy has ingloriously fled from the contest, leaving the field in our undisturbed possession. Perhaps he has very wisely come to the conclusion, that

"He who fights and runs away,
May live to fight another day."

If so, we admire his prudence, as it always is admitted that "discretion is the better part of valor." Or it may be, that the sage little Editor is somewhat apprehensive of the contents of our unpublished little book. In consideration, however, of his good behaviour the past week, we will at present, postpone our proposed publication. But by way of advice, not untimely, we hope, we will inform him, the manuscript is always at hand.
