Brownie Troop 623 had their first Family Cookout in honor of their Dads on Tuesday, May 31st in Forest Hills Park. Mrs. Eva Hulsebus was in charge of the Fire Building Group, Mrs. Katherine Berke had charge of the Cooking Group, and Mrs. Miriam Lindemann headed the hostesses.
The Girl Scouts will hold their annual picnic on Friday, June 10th, also at Forest Hills Park.
Brownie Troop 675 will present a Flag Ceremony under the supervision of Mrs. Earl Diehl, leader, and her assistant Mrs. R. Kerr.
Individual troops will bring a nosebag or have a cook-out, with by the neighborhood district. Mrs. M. Papadelis heads the refreshment committee.
Mrs. J. Mismas and Mrs. M. Lindemann will lead the girls in games and songs.
The Caledonia Neighborhood Girl Scouts have a newly elected set of officers they are: Mrs. John Crysler, 2067 Taylor rd.; Mrs. Andrew Grant, 3404 Thorne rd., chairman and co-chairman, and Mrs. J. Ficery, treasurer. The committee chairmen are: Mrs. F. W. Jacobs, World Friendship; Mrs. E. Rose, Cookies; Mrs. A. Wade, Calendar; Mrs. G. Kalkas, Publicity; Mrs. L. Jones, Service; Mrs. W. Alstadt, Outdoor; Mrs. E. Gronstein, Badge consultant; and Mrs. G. Kitson, Troop Consultant.
