Some top officials of RCA Victor Company, were the guests of Dr. Rufus E Clement at a special luncheon at Atlanta University yesterday.
The group headed by Joseph Baker, public relations consultant for the company, assembled in the main dining room of Atlanta University It was the second such trip made by top company officials to the University and the nature was primarily one of goodwill.
Speaking for the group yesterday was J. Haber, communications official and one of the top ranking officials of the company.
During the course of his talk, Mr Haber told of the rapid advance and achievements of his company and the gain in the field of electronics in general
In this day of world crisis, he said both business institutions and educators can do something about bringing about clearer understanding among men the world over.
"We see great movements in the area of technology,' Mr. Haber said He added that in the midst of these achievements and scientific know-how, "we need new and skilled people to take over in this new world.'
Mr. Haber cited these changes as a new challenge to world thinking.
On their visit to the University this time, officials gave the library there a High Fidelity record machine. The library at Atlanta University is under the direction of Dr L. D. Reddick. Dr. Reddick had the set place in the Video Sound room of the library.
