Dec. 28. By a gentleman just arrived here from the West-Indies, we hear, that Major Washington, nephew to our illustrious General, and Aid-de-Camp to the Marquis de la Fayette, has lately taken a tour through the British West-India islands, for the recovery of his health. At each island he received uncommon civilities, particularly from the Governor of Barbados. He is now at Bermuda, at which place his Excellency Governor Brown has shewn him the greatest politeness; and he may be hourly expected here to spend the remainder of the winter.
