The cause of Harrison and Reform goes bravely on in Illinois. Though beaten in August, (not, as the State Register says, by 7,000, but by less than two thousand,) we will show them in November that Old Tip is himself upon the track. We will give to him our vote.
General Jackson, we understand, started on Tuesday upon an electioneering expedition to the Western District. We predict he will come back with K K. (Couldn't Come it) written on his countenance. We have some acquaintance with the people of the Western District, and undertake to say that they are the last people in the world to bow to the dictation of any man.-Nashville Banner.
