You Pierced My Heart With Cupid's Dart

Go back with me through memory
Unto the day when first we met.
Love at first sight, surely is right,
For the joy it gave is with me yet.

You pierced my heart with Cupid's dart,
By lover's art and your winsome pow'rs.
My promise true I gave to you
While strolling through the garden of flow'rs.

With a will free I pledged to thee
And thou to me a love as pure as gold.
My love still true, I promise you,
My whole life through it ne'er shall grow cold.

You did your part to win my heart.
Your words of love were sweet to me.
A sweetheart true, I was to you,
And forevermore shall faithful be.

STANLEY GRAHAM.
