Radio Official Complains Link With Indictment

of a story of a man who was in-
dicted Friday by the Fulton Coun-
ty Grand Jury. A man, identified
in court records as Virgil Banks
was indicted on a charge of shoot-
ing at another person. No further
identification on the arrested man
was listed in the story.

Indictments usually carry only
the name of the defendant, but re-
ords will be further checked when
the courthouse opens Monday, in
order to give complete name, and
occupation of the arrested man.

Mr. Banks stated that many peo-
ple had mistakenly identified him
as being the subject in the indict-
ment, and that it had caused con-
siderable embarrassment to him.
He asked that further identification
of the suspect be made to clear up
the matter.
