Hidden Talent Players in One-Act
A-Bomb Drama
The famous Hidden Talent Players, a group founded and directed by Harry Levette, will launch a series of one-act dramas on the Central of Vine television shows. The plots will be based on the recent announcement that Russia has the atomic bomb.
First of the series will be "Black A-Bomb Traitor" all about Red spies who mistook a Negro atom scientist for an easily won-over janitor at an U. S. uranium plant.
Other plays will include "Beautiful Hell-Cat," and "I'll Die Singing America."
David and Zelda Anderson, brother and sister of Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, will sing on the opening show. Among other famous guest artists will be Benny Carter. The 15-minute plays are written by Levette.
