CHESAPEAKE AND DELAWARE CANAL—RESUMPTION OF TRAVEL BY THE ERICSON LINE.—

The break which occurred in the Chesapeake and Delaware canal the 19th of August last has been repaired so far as to admit of the passage of steamers. Thursday morning the Octorara and Vineland, with the barge Ianthe in tow, started for New York, information having been received that two light vessels had passed through the canal, and that every thing was in readiness to pass heavy draught steamers. The steamer Richard Willing, of the same line, with a full load of freight started for Philadelphia yesterday.
