S. Dutton, an old Minnesota friend of D. A. Scott, has been out to the Springs to see Mr. Scott and is much pleased with the prospects of that thriving young city. He says Mr. Scott left Blue Earth five years ago with a horse and buggy constituting his earthly possessions. Scott could now buy out the best part of the county he so recently left. The new town of Wessington is rapidly assuming the air of a metropolitan city. The large reservoir is complete and that new fountain will throw a stream thirty feet high. Dr. Burr's Boston friend, Mr. Bourne, has purchased an interest in the Wessington Springs, making a strong company stronger.—Mitchell Republican.
