A Big Boy Mail Robber.

Deputy United States Marshal John D. Dailey and Jas. R. Witten, clerk to the marshal of the Western district of Virginia, arrived in Baltimore yesterday afternoon, having in custody Clay Higgins, a lad sixteen years old, six feet in height, and poorly clad. The lad was convicted on Saturday last in the United States Court at Abingdon, Va., before Judge John A. Paul of robbing the mail of about three hundred dollars. He was sentenced to the Maryland House of Refuge for four years. The robbery occurred in Grayson county, Va., where the lad was employed as mail-carrier.
