MANAGERS OF EACH SIDE ARE CONFIDENT

Columbus, O., May 21.-President Taft's managers early declared the indications pointed to a sure victory for the president in the Ohio primaries today. The Roosevelt adherents stuck to their former claims that the Colonel would get a majority of the delegates. Almost all the 5,000 voting places in the state opened at 5:30 this morning and in the cities there was a large early vote cast. The polls close at 5:30 tonight in the cities but in the country remain until 6 o'clock. President Taft and Governor Harmon cast their votes in Cincinnati.
