Full Text
The editor evidently was talking through his hat. Armstrong, with his long list of consecutive knockouts, has never shown the hitting power of Langford—stopping a fighter with one punch. Armstrong beats his man down with a series of blows.
He has shown great stamina, but he has never shown boxing skill which would have warranted his most ardent supporter to have compared him with Gans, one of the greatest ring generals in the craft.
Henry will take more punishment in one bout than Gans was accustomed to take in ten.

Nat Fleischer in Ring magazine states Henry Armstrong has the stamina of Joe Walcott, hitting power of Langford, and cleverness of Joe Gans. The editor disputes this, noting Armstrong's knockouts come from series of blows, not one-punch power like Langford, lacks Gans' boxing skill, but shows great stamina and takes more punishment than Gans.
