Read Soldiers that Ye May All Weep.

Lieut. J. M. Neall, representative of the War Department and F. C. Lord, Col. First Regiment N. N. G., yesterday visited Carson and located the ground for the camp of instruction to be assembled next Monday the 22d. The encampment will be in Treadway's field, immediately west and adjacent to the dance pavilion in the park. The following calls for the government of the encampment have been adopted:

Reveille......5:30 Recall.....11:30
Police........5:50 Dinner....12:30
Breakfast.....6:30 Drill call... 3:00
Drill call.....7:30 Recall .... 4:30
Recall........8:30 Supper.... 5:30
Surgeon call..8:30 Dress parade, 6:30
Guard mount.9:00 Tattoo..... 9:00
Drill call....10:00. Taps... . . .10:00

Monday will be occupied in organizing the encampment, and regular camp duties will begin Tuesday morning. The morning drills will be in squad and company, and those of the afternoon will be battalion drills. It is expected Governor Colcord and Major-General Keating will inspect the command Friday afternoon and a sham combat will be fought between the troops on that date.

The officers in charge of the command will use every endeavor to make the encampment as perfect and efficient as strict military discipline will warrant. —Chronicle.
