The Atlanta Baptist Ministers met Tuesday June 23 at Greater Wheat Street Baptist Church in an interesting meeting. Dr. M. W. White led the devotional service. Following this, Dr. Wm. G. Bivins, pastor of the Greater Mt Vernon Baptist Church, acted as president during the session.

Rev. G. W. Jordan urged the pastors to bring an offering for Dr. White next Tuesday. He said we have more appreciation for our fathers. Dr. White is one of our beloved Baptist Missionaries. Rev. Jordan also said that Dr Bivins was a real man, for you can always depend on him. Further he said Dr Bivins was approachable by anyone

Rev. J. R. Barnett, pastor of Butler Street Baptist Church also spoke very favorably of the fine work Dr. White has done. We also said our leaders must learn to respect their followers or suffer defeat.

Rev. W. B. Bell. pastor of Iconium Baptist Church and Moderator of the Hopewell Association electrified the group with an able talk.

Dr. W. F. Paschal, pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist and State Baptist evangelist. said true education does not only come out of books. but from things observation and experience.

Dr. Bivins said that we had one of the best meetings that we have had in a long time The meeting was loving and sweet.

Rev. M. E. Cook of Griffin. Ga.. is now conducting a great revival at the Chapel Hill Baptist church.
