On the night of the 14th ult., the store of Mr. George W. Hovermale, a short distance from the town of Bath, in Morgan county, on the road to Martinsburg, was broken open and robbed of goods and money, amounting in the aggregate to about $600. The lock was bored out, and required some 27 holes. Morgan S. Thompson, John S. Thompson and Richard Miller were arrested as the robbers, and after an examination before a Justice, acknowledged their guilt. The guilty parties are now in jail, and most of the stolen property has been recovered.
