COMMITTEES NAMED BY CHAIRMAN OF BOARD BRONSON

SOLONS ARE ASSIGNED DUTIES THIS MORNING—TREASURER REPORTS ON CONDITION OF COUNTY'S EXCHEQUER.

Interest on the Board of Supervisors this morning centered about the selection of committees to serve under him during the fiscal year by Chairman M. A. Bronson. The task was quickly disposed of by the newly elected county chairman with few changes being made in the personnel of the old committees. The following are the appointments announced by Mr. Bronson:

Finance—Goedtner, Trumbo, Wylie, Dunn, Doyle, States, Dauber.

Judiciary—Bell, Richey, Wylie.

Fees and Salary—Larson, O'Donnell, Charley, Hoobler, Burns, Hall, Farley.

Miscellaneous Claims—Bell, States, Andrews, Kelley, Hall.

Pauper Claims—Farnsworth, Hawley, Kuhn, Hunter, Yockey, Lewis, Peck.

Pauper Statistics—Langley, Kastenbein, Callagan, Connerton, Rogers.

Want Help on Bridges.

Three petitions for county aid in the construction of their new bridges were filed this morning by the towns of Mission, Groveland and Fall River.

The Mission township bridge, which lies on the county line between Mission and Nettle Creek, in Morris, is being undermined, according to F. W. Hine, Grundy county highway superintendent. Mr. Hine asked for a meeting at the site of the bridge be (Continued on page 3, col. 5.)

between the Grundy and La Salle county committees.

The Fall River township bridge will cost about $7,000 and while it was announced to the solons that there are three structures in Groveland that are now in dangerous condition and badly in need of repair.

Appoint Memorial Committees

Five former members of the board have passed away since the March meeting. They are G. J. States. J. T Walsh, F G. Arentzen, James S Work and John Keys. The committee consists of Supervisors Larson Yockey. Marshall. Healy and Charley.

Treasurer Reports.

County Treasurer William Flick reported the condition of the various departments dependent upon the county exchequer as follows:
