Franklin, Idaho, June 25.-Newel H. Comish, his wife and daughter, Alison, have just come home from Madison, Wisconsin, where he has been attending the State University of Wisconsin.
Against great difficulties, known only to students who have financially worked their way through school, Mr. Comish has been remarkably successful. He is a graduate of the B. Y. C. and U. A. C., a winner of interclass and intercollegiate debating medals, a former member of honorary societies, a former teacher of the Snowflake stake academy, and a graduate student of the University of Chicago and the University of Wisconsin. In each of the two institutions in the middle west, he ranked among the highest class of intellectual students; and at the University of Wisconsin he received a master's degree of science, June 16, 1915.
Mr. Comish will go to the Oregon state Agricultural college, an institution with an enrollment of approximately 4,000 pupils, to teach economics and sociology.
