BALTIMORE, NOV. 7.

This morning General Washington arrived town (on his way to Trenton) having been met by two troops of Dragoons some miles to the southward of the city. After breakfast he passed and received the honors of two regiments of foot, drawn up in the street for that purpose; and after returning to Brydon's inn, where his carriage waited; he set off for the Susquehannah, escorted by Bay's troop of light dragoons. The joy was general, and every eye looked upon him with reverence and respect.

The General is on his way to Trenton, where it is said, he is going to meet the President, the three late Envoys to France, and the General Officers of the provisional army.
