At Cleveland and Scores Judson Harmon and John A. Dix—
Makes Charges.
Cleveland, Ohio., Nov. 5.—Colonel Theodore Roosevelt made an impassioned appeal in a speech before ten thousand voters in Central Armory tonight, for an unbroken Republican vote together with the Independent vote next Tuesday to defeat the corporation alliance with the Democratic party.
He pointed to the New York state situation with Tammany's combination with the Wall Street ticker crowd as an indication for the responsibility that has been put upon the voters in this election.
He scored John A. Dix, Democratic candidate for governor of New York, and his wall paper trust affiliation.
In his speech here as well as at Toledo earlier today Colonel Roosevelt severely attacked Governor Judson Harmon in an effort to boost the candidacy of Harmon's Republican adversary, Warren G. Harding, in the race for Governor.
He accused Harmon with being in sympathy with the corporations and charges him with blame for the defeat of a public bill in the Ohio legislature throughout his "supine attitude."
