Bomber Pilots Get Wings, Commissions

"Bombs Away", is the cry heard often over enemy held territory. From such bases of the Training Command as the Tuskegee Army Air Field and many others, the nuclei of bomber groups formulate. These youths, who were at one time participating in many social events of neighborhoods throughout America, are now preparing themselves for the fight to preserve Democracy. Later as bomber pilots they will be playing an important role in dropping bombs of destruction.

Recently at the Tuskegee Army Air Field a number of Aviation Cadets were awarded their wings and commissions as twin-engine pilots. They are from left to right:
