Paris, Dec. 30. The Parliament having sent Deputies to Versailles, to intreat his Majesty to permit it to make its Remonstrances to the Pope's Brief against the Calvarits, (an Order of Nuns convicted of Contumacy for not receiving the Pope's Constitution) relating to the University and the Evocations to the Council; the King has signified to them, That he will receive none at present; and that he requires of them absolute Obedience to his Will, seeing he resolves upon nothing without mature Deliberation.
