CARSON CITY, July 12.—At a meeting of the board of examiners in this city the board refused to allow the bills of the Nevada sheep commission, and it is stated that this action was taken as a result of the recent troubles of the sheep commissioners in Lander county. The members of the board declare that the bills were rejected because they were improperly drawn.
The Nevada sheep commission is at present defendant in a suit brought by the Lander County Sheep Owners' association as a result of the commissioners refusing to allow bands of sheep to go on the ranges before they were dipped. Commissioner Humphrey has handed in his resignation, but as yet Governor Sparks has not appointed a successor.
