PORTSMOUTH

A few Days since arrived here several Men, lately belonging to the Brigantine, Michael Hooker, late Master, and informs, That they left Antigua the 26th Day of Dec. last, and on the 24th of January following, on their Voyage to this Port, were cast away on the Rocks of La Have, so called, about 25 Leagues to the Westward of Halifax, where the Vessel split in Pieces, and the Captain, Mate, and a Lad of about 17 Years of Age, were unfortunately drowned; the Rest of the People were saved by getting on shore.
