The Presbytery of Lexington met last week in Timber Ridge church, Rockbridge county. There were about fifty ministers and elders present. Rev. D. B. Ewing, D. D., and Rev. J. R. Bowman, ministers, and Messrs. Charles Grattan and Hugh Guthrie, elders, were appointed commissioners to the General Assembly, which meets in Savannah, on the 18th inst. The weather was delightful and the hospitality of the people abundant. They adjourned at 12 m., Saturday.
