BOOZE RUNNERS

SEATTLE, Nov. 26.—Clarence R.
Cheatwood, Charles Newton, and Morris
and Charles Morris, brothers, men
about town, were arrested here this
morning at the insistence of British
Columbia authorities who have secured
a confession from P. Strumpkins,
of Victoria, that the quartette is suspected of the murder of Capt. W. G.
Gillis, of the rum boat Beryl G., and
his son, William, aged 17.

The boat was found floating in the
waters of Puget Sound with her decks
bloodstained.
