Taft Day.

Taft Day at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific exposition will be Thursday, September 30. In honor of the president of the United States, who will attend the big show on that day and address the assembled multitude in the Natural Theatre, a state-wide holiday is to be declared.

Preparations are now under way to make it the biggest event of the exposition year, and it is predicted that the attendance will surpass that of Seattle Day, when more than 117,000 persons passed through the gates.

The president is traveling westward and he is sure to get the most enthusiastic reception of all on Puget Sound.
