Manager Bill Leard and a squad of six Giants are expected to arrive from the South on the 8:40 train tonight.
Governor Lister arrived late Tuesday, and the training season will begin in earnest Wednesday.
Leard failed to show up Monday according to schedule, so the practice games have been set back a day.
The squad will work out Wednesday and will meet the Puget Sound Construction team Thursday.
The Giants will practice again Friday and then will try to stand off Walter Malls' machine gun crew from Camp Lewis Saturday and Sunday.
The gang arriving from the South includes Perry, Downey, Smale, Bourveau, Le Clouster and Carman.
Announcement Monday that Herb Murphy has signed again to look after the third sack was a relief to Seattle fans, as they don't need to worry now about Leard developing a new man for the difficult corner.
Russ Hall has signed a lad named Larry Shea as backstop. He's a brother of Danny Shea, who caught as many games in the Northwest as any of them. Larry was touted as the best prospect in Portland.
Eddie Klein, who heaved a few for Seattle before going to Camp Lewis last summer, twirled a nifty game for a Tacoma all-star team against Fort Flagler Sunday. He struck out 13 men and shut out the artillerymen, allowing but one hit.
