Atlanta's best entertainers and musicians have volunteered to present the year's most outstanding cabaret show this Thursday night at the Waluhaje Ballroom from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The event has been billed as the "After Easter Jamboree". The affair predicted to be the greatest gala night of fun of the season, is being sponsored by the Y's Men's Club for the benefit of underprivileged boys of the Butler St. YMCA. Tickets are now on sale at Yates Drugs Stores, Paschals, Grant's Place and the YMCA. Through the courtesy of P. S. Oke, executive secretary of the local musicians union, many top-flight artists have agreed to appear on the program. A total of eight orchestras will vie for honors during alternating periods of the program. Dancers, vocalists, comedians, and variety acts will round out the entertainment. Disc jockey from local radio stations will introduce the entertainers. Among the groups and individuals agreeing to perform are Billy Wright, Cleveland Lyons, Ralph Mays, John Peek, Lloyd Terry, Briton Lloyd, Eddie Foster, J. Neal Montgomery, Austell Allen, Joe Thomas, Tokve Trio, H. L. Domineck, Lyman Brown, The Royals, Duke Pearson, Lum and Abner, Zilla Mays, Ernestine Allen, Harmonica Zack, John Samuel, Dozier Parker, and a host of others to make up a jampacked fun package. W. H. Aiken has donated the Waluhaje Ballroom for the occasion and among the disc jockeys who will Emcee the affair are: Pat Patrick, Jack Gipson, Joe Howard, Zilla Mays, Zenas Sears, Preston York, Roosevelt Johnson and Gertrude Nelson.
