Mantua, April 10.

Our Advices from Turin speak of great Preparations making by General Leutrum for the Siege of Valencia (a strong Fortress on the South Side of the Po, about 15 Miles from Tortona, and near the same Distance from Novi, where it is generally said M. Maillebois lies with his Army encamp'd, within the two Roads which lead from Alexandria into the State of Genoa, between the Mountains of Ottaggio, where they both unite, and lead directly by Ponte to the City of Genoa.)

The carrying this Fortress is esteem'd of the greatest Importance; and near 200 Cannon and a great Number of Miners and Sappers are employ'd in the Siege.
