Full Text

Ely has a candidate on the ticket next Tuesday and civic pride and a "do it for Ely" spirit should rally to his support and urge every voter to the polls on election day. We have reference to the County Commissionership for which Jacob L. Pete is a candidate. Ely is the logical headquarters for the Commissioner of this Fourth District. We have nothing against Fay personally and were Mr. Fay a resident of this city we would lend our voice towards his election. We have always been and intend to be in the future, for Ely and its citizens, first, last and in between.
