(By United Press.)
JEANNETTE, Pa., July 15. Believing that a light in the store meant to turn over an amount of 'black hand' money, George Labarto, a fruit man, shot Venici Ceciliano, an Italian barber. Ceciliano died in Westmoreland hospital this morning.
Labarto escaped.
Mrs. Labarto turned over to the police black hand letters. She said her husband was always armed for he feared the black hand society. Said the signal was when Ceciliano walked in the store, took a cigar and lighted it. One bullet cut the finger of Labarto's seven year old daughter, who was in the front part of the store.
