Halifax papers to the 29th ult. have been received at Boston, which contain a proclamation of the Lieut. Governor of Prince Island, relating to the late Convention between Great Britain and America, in which it is declared: That, if any vessels or subjects of the United States be found fishing or preparing to fish, within three marine miles of any part of the coast of the island; or shall attempt to use any part of the coasts of the Colony, for drying or curing Fish, or for other purposes, connected with the Fishery—that the most prompt measures will be taken for enforcing a due adherence, on their part, to the stipulations contained in the said Convention.
