Letter from Petersburg, Nov. 18. N.S. This Day the Empress removes from her Summer to her Winter Palace. We have received Advice, that the Marquis de Botta is expected here from Vienna, in order to concert the Operations of the next Campaign against the Turks. All that we hear from the Ukraine is, that the Troops are already in their Winter Quarters, and that the Plague still makes terrible Havock in Moldavia and Walachia. We are told that the Schach Nadir has sent a Letter to the Empress, in which he assures her Imperial Majesty of his earnest Desire to keep up a good Understanding with Russia, and that the Embassadors he has sent to the Porte, are not charged with any Commission contrary to that Assurance.
